Transitional Pastor

Daren and his wife Kristin came to Cranbrook Alliance in July 2011 to help lead the church through a healthy transition and prepare for the search of a new senior pastor.

Daren's role is much like that of a senior pastor- preaching, working with the elders, overseeing the staff- but also includes research into the history and present reality of the church, an assessment of the church and the development of a transitional strategic plan, in concert with the elders and Gerry Teichrob a transitional consultant. Transitional pastors are never potential senior pastor candidates.

Daren and Kristin have two children: Nicholas, age 20, who works out of Sherwood Park, Alberta, and Danielle, 19, who will be in Capernwray Bible College in Costa Rica for two four month segments while Daren and Kristin are here.
