Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent by Beth Moore is an in-depth look at 15 Psalms. Just as a song or poem can express feelings of fear, doubt, hope, and joy, these 15 psalms model how study participants can voice their own petitions and praises to our God, who is always available and ready to hear us. Explore the major feasts of Israel and journey with Beth through Psalms 120-134 in this 7-session study. Themes such as unity, joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God.

Study:  Beth Moore: Believing God
Where: Robert's
When: Thursday at 6:30 pm
Begins: October 8

Description: Originating from a concept introduced in Isaiah 43:10, Believing God examines what it means to believe God rather than only believe in Him. Grace Evening Bible Study
Study:  Becoming a People of Grace" by Chuck Swindoll
Where: private home
When: Tuesdays at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Begins: September 29
Contact: Sheila Marshall
Description:

Do you want to discover how to gain new life in Christ? Are you struggling with feeling secure in your salvation? Are you curious about how believers should live once salvation comes? Answers to these questions and more lie within the pages of the rich and insightful book of Ephesians.

From head to heart, separation to unification, and Christ to humanity, the book of Ephesians runs the theological gamut. It begins with God in the heavens, takes us to the humble descent and loving sacrifice of Christ, and ultimately leads us upward in His glorious resurrection that, together, we might live well in His grace.

As Chuck Swindoll preaches his way through this letter, allow God’s Word to reaffirm your faith in His sovereign will and to encourage you to live submissively and humbly in light of His Son’s gracious sacrifice.
